You sew so many knits though, Chris! I love my serger for knits, it’s speedy and neat and makes a beautiful seam that doesn’t feel like it’s going to pop when you pull on it. I think you’ll really like working with a serger when you get around to it.

I know I would use one if I had one, BUT I’m scared of all the multiple threadings and the overall strangeness of the machine. Since my birthday is in September, I’ll wait and read through the four part series in Vogue Patterns Magazine. That way I hope to have a better understanding and idea of what Sergers actually do….and should be able to add one to my birthday list!
